High Blood Pressure:
Do I really need to treat it?

‘Do I really need to treat my high blood pressure?’

I hear this so often and it’s a really great question! You know there are risks of having high blood pressure, especially of stroke, heart attack and heart failure. Maybe you’ve even seen how devastating they can be first hand - how your loved one or friend wasn’t the same person after, how they couldn’t do as much or live life as fully as they did before.

And so, you want to do everything you can to stop this happening to you.

And yet, what’s the answer? It doesn’t feel so simple does it? You’re not sure you want to start medication you’ll be on for the rest of your life, especially with those nasty side effects you’ve heard about. And you know there are other things you can do, but it’s noisy out there, with so many conflicting statements that never seem to quite be backed up by anything. And so where do you start?

You want to make truly informed decisions.

The truth is, you may have found (just like so many of my patients) that however much you like or respect your GP you just simply don’t get the time you need to fully understand your options and to make a decision you feel confident and happy with.

Introducing…

Hypertension: Trick or Treat?

I’m Dr Matthew Roycroft, a dual certified consultant physician in the NHS with a Masters in Higher Education, and I can tell you what your doctor hasn’t and will give you the tools and knowledge to empower you to make truly informed decisions about your healthcare.

In this FREE course, we’ll explore the real risks of high blood pressure, the evidence behind treatment decisions and just how high it needs to be to start treatment.

We’ll go right into the detail so you can take control back and be empowered to make your own decisions about the treatment course you choose to take.
