Take Control of Your

Blood Pressure Management

Doctor guides patient through completion of health questionnaire

I imagine you’re here because you’ve got high blood pressure and your GP has suggested you consider treatment for this (or maybe you’re already on treatment). You know there are probably good reasons for this, but you’re also aware that all medications come with side effects. You know that once medication is started, people often stay on if for life and you want to really understand what you’re putting in your body - what are the good and bad things it does, what are the alternative options and do they really work? Maybe you know someone who’s had a heart attack or stroke and seen how devastating this can be - you want to do what you can to stop this happening to you!

You want to make truly informed decisions.

The truth is so many of my patients tell me that however good their GP or healthcare professional may be, they just don’t feel they can take up the time they feel they need to in order to fully understand their treatment.

Introducing…

Specialist Opinion: Hypertension

In this course I, Dr Matthew Roycroft, a dual certified consultant physician in the NHS, will not just give you an overview of blood pressure diagnosis and management but will go right into the detail, exploring the guidance and the evidence behind it so that you can take control back and be empowered to make your own decisions about your treatment decisions.

When you enrol you’ll get instant lifetime access to an 11 module online course where we’ll explore diagnosis, monitoring, stages of hypertension, causes and consequences before moving on to assess your personalised risk and how that can be modified in different ways. As well as getting a great understanding of initial drug options you’ll also learn about non-medication options and how these can be combined together.

You’ll come away feeling more confident in the decisions you make about your health - 100% guaranteed or your money back!

“I only wish that Dr Roycroft had been involved with my medical treatment earlier. I appreciated his candour and especially the way he helped me understand my condition and his advice moving forward.” - Patient Testimonial

You’ve seen the NHS doesn’t have the time to provide the consultation length you want to discuss your healthcare needs in the depth you want to go into. You could go private but an hour exploring in detail with a consultant is going to be hundreds of pounds.

People tell me I should be charging £hundreds for the depth and quality of the information in this course (imagine what a private consultation would cost for this long!!!) but I want as many people as possible to be able to really understand the management options for their high blood pressure so they can be empowered to make choices about their own health that are right for them!

Meet Dr Matthew Roycroft

Hello!

I’m Dr Matthew Roycroft, a dual certified consultant physician working in the NHS with a Masters in Higher Education.

I know that everyone is different - they’ve got different values, thoughts, concerns, ideas and things that are important to them. I’m passionate about helping people better understand their health conditions so that they can make decisions around their own health that are truly informed and right for them.

Bonus 1: Blood Pressure Diary

Digital image of dissected heart

You might have heard of ‘white coat hypertension’ - when blood pressure readings done at your GPs read much higher than at home - but you might not have heard of the opposite, ‘masked hypertension’ when blood pressure is lower at the GPs. Having accurate measurements are a cornerstone of treatment decisions and whilst there are a few ways to do this (which we’ll explore in the course) one of the simplest is measuring your own blood pressure at home.

If you’re monitoring your blood pressure at home then you need a way of recording it and so when you enrol you’ll get a free blood pressure diary to either print out yourself or to copy along with simple guidance on how to use it.

Bonus 2: Exercise and diet

You know that exercise is good for you right? What you might not know though is that not all exercise is created equal when it comes to blood pressure control - one form of exercise is significantly better at lowering blood pressure than others and it’s not what you think!

You may have heard about salt reduction too but how good is it really? But what about potassium, sugar, fat and more?

In this bonus section we’ll explore diet and exercise and what the simplest changes are that make the biggest difference at lowering your blood pressure.

Bonus 3: Alternative options

Like many of my patients you may have wondered about alternative treatment options - acupuncture, dietary supplements like beetroot or cherry juice. But do they actually reduce blood pressure? And if they do what’s the reduction in stroke or heart attack risk from this?

In this free bonus section we’ll explore exactly this!

And so…

Are you ready to regain control over your blood pressure management?

When you enrol to join ‘Specialist Opinion: Hypertension’ you’ll get:

  • Instant access to all modules for just £47

  • Free bonus modules on diet, exercise, acupuncture and dietary supplements
